What is a CFP4 optical transceiver?
In accordance with the multi-source agreement (MSA), CFP4 optical transceivers support 40Gbit/s and 100Gbit/s interfaces for Ethernet, telecommunication and other applications. Compared to the existing CFP form factor, CFP4 quadruples the front panel port density.
