Challenge
Discover how Moov Africa teamed up with TXO to quickly access the exact spare parts needed to address equipment failures and minimise downtime. Moov Africa was experiencing frequent power outages and subsequent equipment damage, particularly affecting Ericsson cards and modules. As these components had reached the end of their service life (EOSL), they could no longer be supplied by the OEM. Moov Africa needed a reliable source of spare parts to address equipment failures and minimise downtime.

Solution
TXO collaborated with Moov Africa to establish a buffer stock of Ericsson spare parts, anticipating the need for replacements. Working closely together, we built a comprehensive list of required spares to ensure prompt and efficient response to equipment failures.

Result
By partnering with us, Moov Africa successfully, and significantly, decreased the risk of hardware downtime caused by the unavailability of necessary replacement spares. Our collaboration has also led to substantial cost savings for the customer by procuring sustainable, green market equipment from TXO’s stock holding of more than 1 million telecom products, instead of relying solely on the OEM. Additionally, our responsiveness aligned perfectly with Moov Africa’s operational needs, ensuring swift resolution of equipment issues.
