Alcatel’s unit has a 10G capacity, and elsewhere it offers carrier-class, Layer 2 packet/cell switching performance and resilient packet ring protocol support alongside MPLS, GMPLS and integrated ATM. It has Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.
