We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales to join our fast-growing company’s hub in Australia. The Head of Sales oversees all of the department’s activities. The Head of Sales is responsible for driving sales efforts in order to enhance the business’s position with consumers and to solidify the position of the business in the market.

Main duties

  • Lead a team of sales professionals
  • Develop new business relationships, generate and negotiate new income
  • Account manage current customers to ensure maximum revenue is achieved through upsell and cross selling
  • Develop business partners to expand the pipeline and business opportunity
  • Present TXO to potential clients through various communication streams
  • Actively and successfully manage the entire sales process
  • Collaborate with wider sales teams across the Group and work with sales leadership to develop organisational goals
  • Selecting, implementing and managing sales automation tools
  • Some travel for client meetings and events will be required
  • Lead generation for new business and channel development
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline and ensuring all sales administration is current using Microsoft CRM
  • Create and be accountable for all client proposals, contracts and any further documentation, following TXO procedures
  • A thorough understanding of clients marketing objectives including their Return On Investment (ROI) objectives
  • Responding to tenders and requests for information in a timely manner
  • Keep abreast of issues affecting the industry and collect competitor intelligence

  • Proven record of sales ability and demonstrable full knowledge of the sales process
  • Confident negotiator
  • Strong client management skills and ability to execute
  • Confidence in presenting technical and company data to clients and colleagues in a variety of mediums
  • Confidence in presenting and public speaking at industry shows and events
  • Capable of hands on problem-solving, with the ability to generate ideas and solution
  • A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities
  • Ability to use own initiative and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to cope with competing demands and to prioritise tasks
  • Strong communication skills in all forms including written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation
